Chief Executive - Paul Fletcher MBE

Paul Fletcher was appointed Chief Executive of Burnley Football Club in July 2008. Mr Fletcher, who was a popular figure as a Clarets player at Turf Moor throughout the 1970's, originally rejoined the club in December 2007 following the announcement of a £30m redevelopment of Turf Moor and Gawthorpe. The joint role as Chief Executive will now see him focus on commercial activities, including Conference & Banqueting, retail, the ticket office, marketing and matchday/stewarding departments.

At the age of 16 Paul joined his home town Club Bolton Wanderers. Three years later he became one of the country's most expensive transfers when he joined Burnley for a then club record fee. He played at Turf Moor for 10 years and scored the Clarets 'goal of the decade' at Elland road in a famous 4-1 Burnley victory, but a serious leg injury forced early retirement in 1981 at the age of 32. In 1996 he then returned to his old club Bolton as Chief Executive and after two years at the Reebok, he was invited by the FA to become Commercial Director of the new £500 million Wembley National Stadium. After eighteen months he took up the position as Chief Executive at the £64 million Ricoh Arena in Coventry, later joining the Board of Coventry City Football Club as Managing Director.  In the 2007 New Year's Honours list, Paul was awarded the MBE for services to Football.

Financial Controller - Ken Stout

Ken began work for Burnley FC in September 2005. Prior to arriving at Turf Moor, Ken worked as a financial controller/director at local companies such as Gulf, Simon Jersey and AMS.

Catering Manager - Chris Gibson

Chris, who joined the club in April 2001 from the Devonshire Pub Company, is now in charge of all catering operations. In close conjunction with the commercial department, Chris helps to arrange the many varied events that are staged at Turf Moor throughout the year.

Stadium Manager - Doug Metcalfe

Doug was appointed in December 2005 and is responsible for administering and developing the club's facilities, ensuring the smooth and safe day to day operation of the Turf Moor Stadium and Gawthorpe Training Ground and working closely with Ground Safety Officer, Alex Wood, on match days.
Prior to arriving at the club, he held similar roles in both engineering and the construction industry. Originally from Kendal, Doug studied and graduated at the University of Northumbria in 1993 with a degree in Building Management and worked as an Assistant Building Surveyor in Newcastle upon Tyne and, following a move to Lancashire in 1996, he progressed to the role of Service Manager within a local engineering company.Following his appointment at Burnley FC, he has studied for and successfully attained a NEBOSH award, an accreditation in Occupational Health and Safety.

Director of Commercial Affairs - Anthony Fairclough

Anthony Fairclough rejoined the club as Director of Commercial Affairs in September 2008.
Mr Fairclough, who left Turf Moor in July 2006 to become Chief Executive of Wrexham Football Club, said: "I am sorry to be leaving Wrexham, but excited to be returning to Burnley where I enjoyed seven wonderful years as Commercial Manager.
"The club is going through an exciting time on and off the pitch and I don't think there could be a better time to be back.
"It's a great honour and wonderful that the club feel I can do a job in terms of what I feel I achieved before.
"Everything is on the rise and it's exciting times for Burnley and I really want to be a part of it."
Mr Fairclough added: "A business friend heard the news and texted to say 'welcome back. I've got a feeling this s going to cost me!'
My comment back was: "I expect to see your logo all over the stadium!"
Commenting on the appointment, Burnley FC Chief Executive Paul Fletcher MBE said: "I am delighted to welcome Anthony back to Burnley Football Club.
"He has a track record of being able to sell the football product and, as we gear up in every aspect, he is highly qualified and knows the club inside out.
"He was head hunted away from the club a number of years ago, but we are pleased to see him back at an important time in our future plans."

Safety Officer - Alex Wood

Alex, a former senior police officer from the Lancashire Constabulary and Football Match Commander, was also a public order specialist and is in charge of all safety at the club on match days. He keeps an eye on the spectators from the control room at every game and deals with all safety incidents within the ground, working closely with the police match commander. Alex also makes sure that Turf moor is a safe environment for spectators. He is also in charge of all stewards on duty. Alex previously held a similar position at Preston North End.

PR & Media Manager - Darren Bentley

Qualified journalist Darren arrived at Burnley Football Club in May 2006, following a three-year spell as Burnley FC Sports Writer with the Lancashire Telegraph newspaper. Previously, he worked as a freelance sports reporter, supplying work to national newspapers, Reuters UK and Sky Sports News. Darren's appointment followed a restructuring of the media department, which is now the first point of contact for all football and media-related enquiries. The PR & Communications department is also responsible for issuing all press releases, organising player and staff appearances and helping in marketing the club to the general public. The award-winning official matchday programme, Claret And You, which won the Best Matchday Programme Award at the 2008 Football League Awards, is written and designed in-house by the media department, with the grateful help of outside contributors.

Marketing Executive - Nick Taylor

Nick joined the club in January 2007 after 18 months as a manager in the retail sector. Nick attended Mansfield High School and Nelson & Colne College before heading off to Edgehill University, where he received his Marketing Management Bsc with Honours. Nick is responsible for the majority of marketing campaigns the club undertakes to increase exposure and attract new fans, as well as effecting the numerous campaigns set by the Football League during a season. He is also responsible for a large portion of the e-based advertising from the club.

Graphic Designer - Adam Riding

Adam's job is to design almost every document the club produces! He joined the club from The Burnley Express in February 2002 and was launched straight into the limelight, designing the club's season ticket brochure for the 2002/03 season - and every season since. A Burnley lad, Adam went to Habergham High School and honed his talents at Blackburn College. Adam was named employee of the year in May 2008.
